Volunteer

Volunteers are a vital part of our programs for children and teens. You can get involved at our residential Ranch facilities, with foster families or at the central office in many different ways. If you are interested in volunteering at The Ranches, please contact us at 1.800.660.0289.

Special Friends / Mentors
Develop a supportive and nurturing friendship with a boy or girl.

Office Support
Provide staff with clerical and receptionist support, run errands or deliver welcome baskets to foster children.

Child and Teen Activities
Provide children and teens with activities that enhance self-esteem, build relationships and increase awareness of the world around them.

Tutors
Provide tutoring in reading, math, and other school subjects.

Animal Activities
Provide assistance with 4-H, horsemanship and other animal programs.

Facilities and Grounds Maintenance
Occasional help with projects such as home repair, painting, gardening and yard work at one of the Ranches.

Special Events
Staff a variety of fundraising and/or public relations special events.

Professional Services
Provide dental, medical, legal, and other professional assistance.

All volunteers working directly with children and teens are required to complete a background check including fingerprints, undergo a TB test and complete four hours of volunteer training.
