Since 1944, The Ranches has given thousands of boys and girls a fresh start. Our comprehensive programs provide needy youth with a Christian home, education and counseling to overcome their difficult pasts and become responsible citizens. We do not accept government funding, nor do we receive sponsorship from a national organization or church denomination. Honor and Memorial Gifts
Honor and Memorial Gifts are wonderful ways to
help at-risk children and remember the special people in your life. Memorial Gifts
are a tribute to a deceased relative or friend. Oftentimes, they are given in lieu of flowers. An
acknowledgment, without reference to the amount of the gift, is sent to the family or to whomever you
designate. We also include any special greetings you wish to make. Honor Gifts
are a convenient and thoughtful way to remember special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, and
graduations, or to recognize someone special to you at the holidays or anytime. An acknowledgment,
without reference to the amount of the gift, is sent to the honoree(s) as you request.

A gift of stock can be a great way for you to assist boys and
girls at The Ranches while potentially saving money for yourself. When you donate appreciated stock or
securities – that you’ve owned for more than a year – you can receive a charitable deduction for the full
market value of your gift. And you generally avoid capital gains tax when you transfer the asset directly
to The Ranches.* To facilitate your gift of stock, please use the following instructions...
Electronic Transfer of Stock
Electronic transfer of stock shares is the most
secure and timely way to make a stock gift. Please provide your broker with the following information.

Donate In-kind Items
Donations of in-kind items such as toys, athletic equipment,
school items, and tools help make the program a better experience for the boys and girls, and help
defray costs The Ranches would otherwise incur. However, due to storage restraints we are only able
to accept those items that we can readily use in our programs. If you wish to donate items, please

Donate a Pre-Owned Vehicle
If you have a used car, truck
or other vehicle, you can donate it to The Ranches and receive the full fair market value as a tax deduction.
